Although many of our patients are routinely altered before they reach the age of puberty, having an understanding of which behavior patterns are likely to be affected by spay and neuter can be extremely helpful when counseling clients through decisions about the pros/cons of surgery, or about when/if to perform those procedures.  This presentation will cover information from recent research on this subject as well as identify common behavior problems that may be affected by hormones and reproductive status.
