2016 PVMA Virtual Holiday Drive
In lieu of a traditional Holiday drive, as we have done in years past, this year we will be encouraging participation in a virtual holiday drive supporting a number of local animal welfare agencies. To support these organization and the amazing work they do, please visit their Amazon Wishlists and purchase items that will help them with their missions.
If you or your clients would prefer to give monetary donations, please visit the two funds that have been set up: Coffee Creek Puppy Program Yard Project and the Audubon Society of Portland's Wildlife Care Center
Animal Aid is a non-profit, animal rescue organization serving the Portland (Ore.) Metro area since 1969. We house cats in our free-roam shelter and house dogs (and a few cats) in loving foster homes, while waiting to be adopted into their fur-ever homes. Animal Aid relies on the dedication of the community in every aspect of the organization, from volunteers carrying out the day to day tasks, and the financial support of individuals and local organizations. The Cat Adoption Team (CAT) was founded in May 1998 as a safe haven for unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. In 2004, CAT incorporated as a public charity and was approved as a 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt organization. Today, CAT is the Pacific Northwest’s largest nonprofit, adoption guarantee cat shelter.
Since the shelter opened, more than 37,000 cats and kittens have found a new lease on life through our carefully supervised adoption program. Those currently awaiting adoption receive daily care from a dedicated group of staff and volunteers.
CAT works closely with animal welfare organizations, animal control agencies, veterinary offices, and other shelters to care for and re-home cats or kittens who may otherwise face euthanasia.

Founded in 1868 by noted humanitarian Thomas Lamb Eliot, OHS is the third-oldesthumane societyin the nation and the oldest in the West. Eliot initially established OHS to stop the neglect and abuse of draft animals. The mission expanded to include companion animals and, until 1933, orphaned children.
OHS is today the largest humane society in the Northwest, and adopts more animals from our Portland shelter than any other single-facility shelter on the West Coast. OHS puts no time limits on how long animals remain at the shelter—a pet stays available for adoption for as long as needed to find a loving home. If a pet in our care needs medical attention, our veterinary hospital provides the pet with same level of care you would want your own pet to receive.

Since 1897, we've been caring for the animals of Southwest Washington and surrounding areas.
